Advanced Functions and Modeling is a fourth math credit for students. A student enrolled in this course should have passed Math 1, Math 2, and Math 3. This course will provide students with an in-dept study of modeling and applying various algebraic functions and trigonometric functions following the 2003 NC Standard Course of Study.
The various topics that will be covered will be in this particular order is the following:
1.) Sequences and Series
2.) Probability
3.) Statistics
4.) Functions
5.) Data Regression
6.) Right Triangle Trigonometry
7.) Oblique (Non-Right) Triangle Trigonometry
8.) Trigonometric Functions, Graphs, and Equations

The course will require a graphing calculator, completing daily/nightly assignments, and participate/complete various class activities/projects.
